Chicken? Do We Hear Chicken?

As advised by the vet to help senior Pebble tackle her tartar problems, EJ held the nose, bought chicken wing in the wet market, boiled it and gave it to Pebble to gnaw.

Pebble says, 'Doesn't smells like the normal food.

Since you insist, I'll take a bite!

Doesn't taste nice!

Yucks! Do I really have to? I don't want to eat it!'

After several attempts and a number of chicken wings discarded, EJ gave up. Pebble is now happily chomping on treats for dental problems.

hahaha, I could never get my cats to eat steamed chicken meat either. Even the chicken strips in the tuna flakes that I bought from Jimmy's were usually discarded....they just don't like chicken.

Pebble, you sure are a pretty kitty. Too bad you didn't like that chicken wing. But treats are much more tasty. We have never had a chicken wing.
Hope all of you have a wonderful day.

You are soooooooooooooooooo pretty, Pebble. YAY that your mom found something you liked that you could eat to help the tartar problem.

Hope those dental treats help Pebble's teeth issues; C/H have both had teeth pulled and I put a rinse from the vet in their water to help their teeth/gums...Happy week, sweet friends...xoxo...J, Calle, Halle, Sukki

Awww...Pebble, at least you tried. Also, now EJ doesn't have to be grossed out. It was good of her to try too. Hopefully, the treats will do the trick!

I think EJ and I have something in common. We don't really care for chicken.

EJ, you might ask your vet about feeding Pebble some raw chicken. (If she's having other health problems, raw may not be a good thing, but the vet can advise...)

I know many people who say their cats won't touch steamed chicken but love it raw. And you wouldn't have to hold your nose whilst cooking! Just cover your eyes. :-)

Best wishes to dear Pebble; I hope her dental woes are over soon.

I had to speak to the chair..well I've noticed my elderly cat doesn't enjoy chicken any more period (but loves chicken liver)? When I picked up my youngest cat (a mere kitten last Summer, she was very young..I should of given her a special formula- but chickened her to death! Soo, she only eats raw fish and a bit of dry food like the elder. These are precious photos and I enjoyed the way you put this cute post together! My best-

Both my cats and dogs are on dental diet. The dogs is a prescription which I have to get at the vets. I mix it in with their regular dry food. They love it. My cats are on 30% dental diet, and their regular Eukanuba food. They love theirs too.
