Cinders is Better, Award Received and Thank You!

Both Kenggy and Pebble always stay nearby to keep Cinders company when she crawls in to rest in this bottom-most cubicle in the cat condo.

Last Saturday EJ felt a wave of panic when Cinders was not sleeping in her usual cubicle. She sleeps here because she cannot jump (arthritis suspected as well; part of her supplement has chitosan).

EJ went round looking and found her fast asleep on the podium where her roommates usually hang out.

This meant that Cinders is feeling much better to be able to move up and down.

She has even started to clean and groom herself though a little clumsy and ungraceful but who cares as long as she is well enough to do it!

Oh, we received an award from our friends, Tillie and Georgia, Tiger,Treasure and JJ.
“Liebster” means dear, dearest, favorite or beloved in German.
The requirements of receiving the award are to link back to who gave it to you, paste the Award on your blog, then choose 5 of your favorite blogs to pass the award on to that are up-and-coming blogs with less than 200 followers, let them know by leaving a comment on their blog and hope that the 5 blogs chosen will keep on spreading the love by passing the award on to 5 more blogs.

We are bending the rules of this award a wee bit and would like to give it to all our friends for visiting us and giving so many encouraging, comforting words and purrs.
It's our way of saying 'Thank You'. So please don't be shy, just help yourself to this award.

Beautiful Girls and Award

Presented this Stylish Blogger Award by Mr Puddy, my roommates' good buddy, made me want to jump for joy. Thank you.

There are simple missions attached on receiving this award. They are:

1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you this award
2. Share 7 things about yourself that the people out in Blog Land might not know
3. Award 7 recently discovered great bloggers
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them about the award

Now seven things about me.

1. Having survived four human generations, I'm not sure whether I could survive to the fifth
2. Never alone, I always have company and treated well as I have never been thrown about
3. When first acquired, I was of a different colour which was rather pale; now I am beautifully tanned through the aging process
4. Much loved by human and animals, being patted and pawed (lovingly mauled as well) by them, I am really richly polished
5. Though all my legs are getting slimmer, they are still strong to support a human weight. EJ still stands on me
6. I do have a close friend who is older than me - that table beside me is more than 50 years' old which was EJ and siblings' study table when young
7. Beautiful girls like Pebble and Kenggy love to hang out with me because I make them look good! :)

The seven blogs I picked belong to those who have walked on this earth more years than many and hope they will walk many more healthy years to come.

To Prod or Not to Prod

This sight caught EJ by surprise and was momentarily stumped for words. What met the eye was a white blob! It certainly did not look like a cat sleeping; it was more of a fat furry something in hibernation.

So deep was Tommy's sleep that even after EJ got hold of the camera, snapped a few shots and with other cats moving around, Tommy did not move a millimetre.

EJ was very tempted to prod the fleshy rump of the fat blob and took a while to deliberate whether to prod or not to prod. It took EJ some effort in resisting that temptation and allowed Tommy in continuing his hibernation.

Cinders is thrilled to be accepted as a member of the Kool Senior Kat Klub, in short KSKK. She would like to thank Sammy, Andy and their human mom in presenting this lovingly created and beautifully designed award.

Thank you Happy Lucky

Cinders is frolicking happily today.

She received a HAPPY CAT award and would like to thank Lucky whole-heartedly with her 'octagenarian' heart.

Lucky received this award earlier and can be viewed here on what makes him happy.

Five things which Cinders like are:-

Conversation
Food
Pats on head
Tickles under chin
Laps to sit on
