EJ's brother and wife came back for a visit which explains for less postings and blog visits.
This time another interesting personally hand-woven wristband by EJ's niece, Erin, was given. The design is Maple Leaf, the symbol of Canadian identity. Instead of red, it was white on blue.
Cinders modelled the first wristband given last year and can be read here.
EJ picked Kenggy to model this time as the white on blue would stand out on her calico fur. Kenggy, rotund as she is, that wristband had to be an arm band for Kenggy as her neck is too thick for the band to go round.
She did not like it on her forelimb and tried to bite it off. As usual she sat perfectly balanced on her rear, held the band with her pawless front limbs and chewed it.
After having chewed enough and when Kenggy was completely relaxed, EJ placed the band on Kenggy's head like a headband. She looked rather pretty, don't you think?

Awww Kenggy!! She's a fashion kitty and knows that the way to wear an armband is on her head! :-)
She is beautiful! What a sweet kitty!
And talented Erin did a wonderful job with that lovely wristband!
take care
x
Me thinks Kenggy is not a fashion kitty! LOL but she looks great with that headband.
We hope you guys had a fun visit with your family...Kenggy is a gorgeous girl and she looks adorable with the wristband on her arm or her head!...Happy week sweet, beautiful friends...kisses x3...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Kenggy, that wrist band is so great. We have never seen anything like that. We probably wouldn't wear it either but it sure is pretty. Like the white on blue.
Take care and have a great day.
We think she looks adorable in a 60s hippy way in that last photo. :-P
You are a wonderful model Kenggy! You show how versatile as well as pretty the band is. :)
LOL! Love that second picture. Kenggy, it probably wouldn't have fit on Lucy's neck either. You look very cool wearing it has a headband. You're very pretty, and I know it's not fun feeling so undignified, but you look great!
Kenggy looks doubly adorable wearing the band has a headband!!! xxxxxxx
Kenggy is just adorable; she can wear it any way at all.
**Besides Snowflake, I had one other white cat with a blue and a green eye. I found her dead in the garage at age 2. No reason for it since she was an indoor cat.
She is cute. I love the second & the third photo : )
Thank you to visit me : )
Pretty annoyed I bet!
Kenggy
YOU are so beautiful and truly the blue against your fur was outstanding.

EJ's niece, Erin, wanted to post a comment here but was unsuccessful and messaged EJ. Here's what she wanted to say.
Hope you like the bracelets. The blue and white represents our ice hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hockey is huge here. Now you have a small, but big part of Toronto with you :)
lovely kenggy..btw, the wrist and the headband is custom made or you bought it from the shop?? i would like to have it one...he he...and put it in hero's head,,,cannot put into hero's wrist...he he..
btw, pak tam was admitted to UPM veterinar between 5 working days..got bleeding inside his body...i suspected somebody hit him hard in his abdoment..( sorry, my english not so good )
about hero's awkward eating style, i used shallow plate and put 2 inch plastic container below it as a platform and it works...hero seat nicely while eating...thx for the idea...
GO LEAFS GO!!!!!!!
Whichever way you wear it, on your leg or head, you look just perfect, the blue is a lovely color for you.
Bonjour dear EJ
What a cool idea, I think Kenggy is adorable with that bandanna in her head!Kenggy is a doll!
have a great weekend,
purrs and love

Kenggy looks pretty with the headband but she doesn't look particularly impressed. Cats are very good at that...looking unimpressed. How did she lose her paws...poor puss.
Love the headband look...
Hehehehe - Kenggy!!
Headband look makes her very 70's' the flower loving era ... peace ... hippie .....
Hugs Kenggy!
Kenggy looks like my Patchy, without the paws!
Rizal said there's a vet in UK or somewhere that actually fits prosthetic limbs/paws for cats.
