Timid Winnie

Perhaps it was her early years when she was abandoned and left to fend for herself that made her what she is today.

Winnie is timid and always jumpy.
Just look at her eyes and face.

After living with our human for 12 years, Winnie is a little better. She calls when she wants a hug or love, and not the other way around. She still runs when approached.  Perhaps her early experience was ingrained to her bones that human and the whole wide world is unforgiving.

It's so sad that kitties like Winnie with feral beginnings have such deep-seeded fears. Lots of love and comforting cuddles for her and for you who adopted her. - Tom xoxo

I think some cats are just that way having been feral. We have one here. They want so badly to be your friend but it is just too hard for them to be touched. Winnie, so glad you have been able to live with your Mom and not spend your entire life running. You all have a great day.

Our Zoey is like that too. All you can do is show them love and hope they realize they are safe.

Poor Winnie. She must have had some hard early experiences, but glad she has such a loving home and is learning to trust a little bit.

Winnie is such a pretty girl it is hard to believe she had a rough time before finding you.
We are happy she is in such a good place now and can relax and enjoy her life.
We are glad she feels comfy about asking for love, knowing she will get it from you :)

My sister, Toby, was like that, too. Born feral and always a tad scared of stranger peeps. purrs
