It is hard for our human to understand why we, kitties, love to rest in our litter box.
We scream at our human slave each time after we did our business, big or small and watched the box being cleaned with soap and water. Because of our handicapp, no litter is used. And there are four litter boxes of various sizes placed in a row to share between two of us.
So at times, the litter box is cleaner than the inside of duplex bed box. Bed box's got drools!

Well, the box is a cozy size and has low walls.
As is is kept clean, it makes for a comfy nap place ;)

One of ours likes to nap in the litter box. Guess it is somewhat like a nice box. Have a great day.
I haven't tried that...if I did, Mom would probably have a conniption fit getting all concerned. xxx
Winnie, what a cutie you are. Lucy (the kitty before us) would sleep in her litter box when she was boarded and the lady remembers she was in her litter box at the shelter when the lady went to adopt her. It made her feel secure in those situations. Your litter boxes are inviting because there's no litter and kitties love boxes.
It's wonderful to see. We hope you all have a nice week!
A box is a box...even a litter box...and us cats love our boxes!
Brother Simon likes to sit and lay in the litter boxes too!
that's funny! I never had a cat who liked to lay in the litter box (yet) catchatwithcarenandcody
A cat always loves a good box!
We have some kitties at the shelter who like to do that. We guess a box is a box. Right?
Butterfly, the shelter cat on my blog right now, actually pulls her blanket into her litter box and then takes a nap in it. I guess she feels safer in the box.
