Mind Your Punctuation

Punctuation is important for successful writing. Where the punctuation, like a comma, is placed would change the meaning of the sentence.

This is one good example.

Save him, not kill him.
Save him not, kill him.

The kitties are reminding EJ of its importance.

Comma

Colon

Semi-colon

Hyphen

What wonderful punctuation - Mum says if they'd had those as examples when she was at school life would have been much more fun.

That is well done. We especially like the hyphen. But the comma is good too. You all make such good punctuation. Hope all have a great day.

I do love your punctuation!! Now, if I had been able to have these explanations when I was in school, I bet my grades in English would have been better!! Sam Schnauzer is impressed with your talented kitties as well!!

Love it! Have you seen this classic?

Punctuate this:

“Woman without her man is nothing”

And you will find men write: “Woman, without her man, is nothing.”

And women write: “Woman: Without her, man is nothing.”

Oh my. You were so creative today! I'm terrible at punctuation; (Just kidding. I know I should put a period there) But if lessons were this funny, I'd definitely improve in no time.

Those are some good examples of punctuation marks from the cats.

I'm fond of the word-play sentences where a punctuation modification completely changes the meaning of words.
