The torrential monsoon is over, finally.
Scorching hot weather is here. With high humidity, the air feels muggy.
It would be torturous if you are wearing a fur coat like Pebble here with her fur longer than most of her roommates.
She has a secret on how to look cool and good on such days.
Here is what she does.
Relax completely and let your tail hang in the water; never mind if it is the water bowl.
When you feel that the coolness has crept all over your body, lift your tail out and start cleaning it.
Then relax and let your tail go limp allowing air to go through the damp fur thus cooling it.

Hahaha ! cats know exactly what they have to do !
While Mr. G. was on the phone, Arthur took a slice of Mortadella from his plate and ran away and then he growled and didn't want to let it go ! he ate the whole slice ! I so much regretted that I didn't have my camera !

Very clever way to stay cool!
Heat must be uncomfy for the cats - although I personally like hot weather. For us, the rain has returned after what has been really nice winter weather (sunny and 25C or more on several days).

If she turned around and around after her tail was in the water she would be a sprinkler!!! MOL!
If only kitties could take their fur coats off for an hour or two ~ but at least the tail is now nice and cool! :)

The cats here are all so smart! We still have a cooler weather and I hope it stays that way before the hot 36 degrees seeps in by March!
