Jack in the Box

Boxes are definite favourites with the cats. Whenever a box is available and however small, it sure would be occupied.

Captain Jack Sparrow HAWK was fascinated by this tiny box and constantly hogged it.

This box did not last long and has been shredded to bits.

  1. You do know how to have fun, don't you!!! I'm too big to get in a box like that, but I'd still try if I found one laying around!!

  4. The size of the box isn't important to kitties. If it's too tiny a little creative squishing and tearing will make it just right.

    Captain Jack looks very comfortable.

  6. I had to laugh at the friend who posted above that dogs "think outside the box"! It's so true, and it highlights cats' fascination with boxes of all shapes and sizes. To a human, the box in your photos looks remarkably uninspiring, but obviously Jack Sparrowhawk thinks otherwise. He sees its magic. :-)

  11. Captain Jack...what a cutie! He sure made the best of this box!

Thanks for your notes about Lucy's pee problem. Fortunately, at least for now, it only happens at the litter box. She only takes a step or two in and just hangs her bottom over the side. Believe me, I have lots of pads all around.

I love that shot of him looking up with his one eye. :)

  18. So cute!! I love it when cats try to fit in a box that's way too small. They always seem to make it work.
