A Ravelling Moment

EJ wanted to take some photos of us especially Pebble when she posed prettily on the hardwood podium.

At that perfect pose, the button was pressed. EJ forgot that the cheap compact digital camera has a few seconds delay in snapping the picture after pressing the button.

To make it worse, at that precise moment Pebble decided to move off. The result picture taken was this of Winnie staring straight at the camera with a face that says, "you look silly!".

  1. I miss taking so many good photos because I can't get rid of the time delay on my camera and refuse to buy a new one. Your photo turned out very well anyway and cats are good models but I wish they wouldn't move so fast.

  2. Lindy doesn't move fast (doesn't want to, probably can't anyway) but she sure does turn her head away from the camera. Lots of photos of the back of Lindy's head!
This photo of yours, however, speaks volumes about life with cats, EJ. I like it!

  3. That happens a lot here too...by our design, of course, since we don't like having our picture taken! :-)

  4. Mum is laughing and she says sometimes she deletes more pictures than she saves and she is just so pleased it's not just her it happens to!

  7. Don't have any children in the house anymore to tend to the technical things in life so I have not been able to get rid of the time delay on my camera either. I know how you feel.

Still, there are some might interesting shots on our hard drive waiting to be cropped, chopped, titivated, and played with. It's frustrating, but it can be fun.

Thanks for welcoming us back to the Blog Site. The clowder, Buddy Bear, MikiCato, Ms Smokey, Tegar and Rowdy will be stopping by most regular now that we're back. Lots to catch up on I'm tellin ya.

  13. It's still good though! I know exactly how it is with cameras and cats. It's funny sometimes what we end up with.

Thanks so much for your nice comment about Lucy.

  14. Oh, like everyone else, that happens to us all the time. But we don't mind at all. But that is a cute picture. Take care.

  15. Made me smile. I do that too. Delay is a pain to have to deal with and the cats don't help us one little bit by cooperating, either.

  19. Oh I remember our first digital camera always took forever to take a picture. So many good shots were missed by that slow camera! MOL
