Whenever Kenggy happened to eye a pile of old newspapers on the floor which EJ stacked up neatly to be sent off for recycling, Kenggy would never rest easy.
She would dive into the pile and scatter the newspapers with her forelimb stubs. And when extremely excited, she would hop around on her powerful hind limbs like a miniature obese kangaroo. (Kenggy's name is short for kangaroo.)
Well, EJ simply could not and did not want to stop her having fun in creating havoc messing everything as it was such a cute sight.
Kenggy took many frequent short breaks to catch her breath, smoothen her 'out-of-place' furs as well as look at cartoons.
There's something irresistible about newspaper! We all love it! Kenggy looks like she's having a blast.

ReplyDeleteYou have a large stack of newspaper to toss around Kenggy so keep busy. I think the name Kenggy suits you as you look a bit like a kangaroo though I don't think kangaroos read comics.

Oui Oui loves any kind of paper too! But be careful of the ink, especially on newsprint. Its toxic. I work at a printing plant and those chemicals can really so some damage.

We all know that she was really reading. Cats are so smart. I'll never forget my Dad's cat Blackie running for the Christmas wrapping paper and sliding like it was one of those wet and wild mats with the water hose.
