Muggy Air Makes Grungy Fur

The weather is blistering hot reaching an average temperature of 34 °Celsius. With high humidity, it feels like 45 °Celsius.

In this muggy air, the heat is getting to us, with and without fur. Hair and fur get grungy and greasy like Pebble here.

Both Pebble and Tanya were given cold water baths two days ago and dried naturally under the ceiling fan.

  2. Oh my I think I'd melt! It was 25 or 26 degrees here the other week and it was more than I could stand. I'd have gladly taken the cold bath along with Pebble and Tanya!

    Pebble looks spectacularly floofy there!

  3. You have too much heat and here it is far to cold for the season ! Today 13° !! should be around 20° at least ! It's a pity that we can't mix your temperatures, that would be nice for both !

  6. It has been kind of cool here for a little while but we know the hot is coming. But we sure don't know about a water bath. We think we would rather be hot. Hope it cools off for all of you soon. Take care

  12. Poor dear Pebble. We have had an unusual amount of rain, which makes me ache, but the worst that happens to Lindy is she gets wet from rolling around in the back yard.

  15. Poor Pebble and Tanya. I hope the weather cools down soon. When the humidity is high the heat is so much harder to bear.
