Strong Winds and Thunderstorms

Weather has gone a little weird. We experienced strong winds and heavy thunderstorms.
Fallen tree trunks, branches and leaves were brought down with many blocking the path. Mindful hikers (usually the elderly) quickly helped clear as best they could.
With the heavy rainfall, many mushrooms sprouted.

As messy as it can be, it is often Mother's Natures way of cleaning house ...

It is good that people step in and help clear popular routes/tracks. It makes it so much safer for all and takes so little time. Hopefully those winds will die down and you can enjoy better weather and walks

I wonder what kind of mushrooms? My husband likes to forage for them. XO

We are glad the storms have subsided for a bit. How neat that those mushrooms sprouted afterwards, though.

It's amazing how much damage such storms can do, we get them here, too. I hope you get a break from such for a while, with rain when you need it but not storms.
