Personal Meow Toilet

Continued from Little Meow Place (Part II)
Oops! The kitties' toilet slipped EJ's mind.

Those beautiful tiles were put up here too. This toilet was specially constructed with a water seal just like the toilets for human and it drains to the sewage not a drain.

With a tap installed just above, it is easy to clean and flush whatever waste away.

The best part is the kitties use it.

Here, Tortie checking it out just after completion but before the walls were painted.

And Tommy demonstrating the proper way on how to use it.

  1. Oh, that is very special. I have never seen that before.
Our cats use to dig when they use the litterbox or the fields.
I think it looks easy to clean for humans but it is clean enough for the cats when they stand or walk in the pee ???

  3. Luna, Luzie and Olli:
The kitties will howl for me to clean when they finish and I would wash it down. Since the yard floor is also tiled , it is easy to wash/mop several times a day.
Couldn't access your blog as the message that says malware or some virus detected.

Au and Target: No, they don't miss it at all but they do paw the toile/tile though.

Cat litter would be difficult for the cats due to their handicap. They could off balance and fall or tip the extra low plastic toilets placed at one end of the yard.

  6. We had never seen a "Cats only" toilet before - what a good idea.
We love the tiles in case they "splash" the wall.

  10. We're very impressed with the kitty toilet, especially that they'll use it, given that cats naturally like to bury their er, output. That must make for easy cleaning!

  16. This really is very clever, especially in light of what you wrote about litter being difficult for the handicapped kitties. It looks very easy to clean, which must be a huge help for EJ. The tiles make it look pretty.

  17. With so many cats to look after I think that is a perfect toilet, litter trays would be much more work and expense.

  18. I love the tiles! How did you get them to use it without sand?!
