Hostile Takeover

The green plastic stool is the perfect height to sit on to work on the laptop placed on a friend's unwanted old TV stand on wheels.

EJ wondered why Cinders always hang around when EJ worked at the laptop and realised the reason after a brief break to the toilet.

It was a hostile takeover.

EJ had no choice but to take out the tiny child-sized wooden chair used during much younger days in elementary/primary school. It was uncomfortable to sit on as an adult body could not fit in properly.

To prevent more hostile takeovers, EJ now sits on another plastic stool of almost the same height.

Cinders loves that little green plastic stool!

Cinders, that's so cute how you like that stool and so kind of EJ to sit else where. You look so adorable there!

I think Cinders likes the green stool for that exact reason — because you like to sit on it, EJ. It's her idea of being where you are. The child's chair does look uncomfortable. I'm glad you found another plastic stool for yourself. Cinders can't sit on both of them!

That's a corporate fat cat for you. Next thing you know, you'll be retrenched! Oh, silly me -- you're the one who does all the work and generates the revenue. I suppose she'll let you stay. :-)

LOL! Cinders, well done. EJ should know by now that everything in the house belongs to the Cats--you only let the human borrow the items from time to time.

Woof!
I think I can sit on it too.

Good girl Cinders. We usually make Mom sit on the floor when we want the chair or stool. If she gets up, we race to her chair. That is just too darn cute. Take care.

Cats are very particular about their spots, aren't they? Once they find one they like, the take it over :)

Hah, one thing I've learned about cats is that they sit wherever they choose be it a green stool or a tiny chair or in your lap...
