Secret to Looking Cool

The torrential monsoon is over, finally.

Scorching hot weather is here. With high humidity, the air feels muggy.

It would be torturous if you are wearing a fur coat like Pebble here with her fur longer than most of her roommates.

She has a secret on how to look cool and good on such days.
Here is what she does.

Relax completely and let your tail hang in the water; never mind if it is the water bowl.

When you feel that the coolness has crept all over your body, lift your tail out and start cleaning it.

Then relax and let your tail go limp allowing air to go through the damp fur thus cooling it.

You are furry clever - do you have any tips on how to keep warm?

Hahaha ! cats know exactly what they have to do !
While Mr. G. was on the phone, Arthur took a slice of Mortadella from his plate and ran away and then he growled and didn't want to let it go ! he ate the whole slice ! I so much regretted that I didn't have my camera !

Well that is one way to cool off that tail. Good idea. Also great picture. Sorry it is so hot there. Take care.

Ha , Ha :)
What a smart cat you are !
Here we don´t need to cool of , we need some heat !!!
Just now it´s -5 Celsius and the wind is soooo cold :(
Have a nice tuesday !

Very clever way to stay cool!
Heat must be uncomfy for the cats - although I personally like hot weather. For us, the rain has returned after what has been really nice winter weather (sunny and 25C or more on several days).

If only kitties could take their fur coats off for an hour or two ~ but at least the tail is now nice and cool! :)

Oh my gosh, that's so cute and it is very clever on her part as well -- a cool tail is the most important thing as any kitty with a fluffy tail would know :-)

Visiting from Cats on Tuesday!
