Tommy Collared and Captain Jack Sparrow HAWK hatted

EJ had trouble digitally camouflaging Captain Jack Sparrow HAWK's missing right eye globe and asked for help from blogger friend Sammy and Andy. Their mom did it wonderfully. Our Captain look so very sauve and dashing, doesn't he? The Captain is also featured in Sammy and Andy's blog http://samandy007.blogspot.com

To EJ's horror, a number of sores suddenly appeared on Tommy on Sunday morning but could not go to the vet as an appointment was made to visit an elder relative.

Journey to the clinic was yesterday, Monday, and as usual Tommy wailed all the way there and back. Tommy meowed so loud that he could be heard through the wound-up car windows. Traffic was smooth. It was only while waiting for the traffic lights to turn green that drivers of vans and lorries would grin and meowed back at Tommy.

His vet checked him and found that the possible cause could be environmental allergy. A course of antibiotics for two weeks and topical cream was prescribed. Cleaning of the wounds and application of the cream must be done three times a day.

Now it is Tommy's turn to wear that E-collar to prevent him from scratching and licking.

The pink arrows shows those wounds where the cream has been applied.

Tommy being checked out by his roommates.

He tried hard to remove the E-collar.

Angered by having to wear the E-collar, Tommy transformed into a stegosaurus - a mini albino stegosaurus. Can you see the wound on his leg?

A very unhappy Tommy.

PS: To see whether it helps, EJ stopped using floor cleaner and is now using just plain water to clean floor.

Dear Tommy. I always feel so sorry for cats wearing those collars. They really do help, but the cats don't seem to understand, and neither do dogs.

Poor Tommy but this collar suits him so well ! Reminds me the English ladies of the 15th century, lol ! Arthur once had also wounds everywhere and it was a flea allergy although there was no flea on him or the others. He got bites probably outside. Same treatment as Tommy. But it can't be flea bites in your case because they stay inside. Strange.

Tommy looks really cute in his collar! Tommy gets well soon ya! Auntie CazzyCazz & her rascals are sending praaawwyers over for your speedy recovery ^____^

EJ, why don't you use the homemade garbage enzyme as the alternate detergent? You may get the recipe here

I would suggest you to use fruit waste to ferment, it smells much nicer.

Sweet Tommy, please get better soon. I also have skin allergies and mommy has to take me to the v-e-t every 6 weeks for a shot or I itch so badly I can't stop scratching. I scream all the way there but I always feel better almost immediately.
You look so handsome with your pirate eye patch. I am an Admiral in the Cat Navy and so we would look wonderful together, MOL.
Feel better soon sweet Tommy.

OOPS! Mommy accidentally made MY comment to you under HER own name. She said she is sorry and she and I wanted you to know that I am the one who responded..not her. Me, the Admiral.

Mommy needs training in how to be a good secretary!!!

Sammy and Andy's mom did a super job on Captain Jack Sparrow Hawk. He looks terrific with his patch on.
Poor Tommy having to wear that collar. Hope you can figure out what he is allergic to. That might be hard to do. Hopefully it is the floor cleaner. Keep us posted.
Have a great day.

Poor Tommy - it must be so uncomfortable and difficult to move round with that big collar on.
Hopefully the cream will heal up those mark quickly. Practice turning you head round really quickly and smack your room mates with it!!
